Basic volleyball moves
Here are some basic volleyball moves and exercises to help you improve them:
### Basic Volleyball Moves
1. **Serving**:
- **Underhand Serve**: Ideal for beginners. Hold the ball in one hand, swing the other arm back, and hit the ball with the heel of your palm.
- **Overhand Serve**: Toss the ball in the air and strike it with an extended, rigid arm.
- **Jump Serve**: Combine the overhand serve with a jump to add power and unpredictability.
2. **Passing (Bumping)**:
- **Forearm Pass**: Create a platform with your forearms, keep your eyes on the ball, and use your legs to lift the ball.
- **Overhead Pass (Setting)**: Use your fingertips to control and direct the ball to the attackers.
3. **Setting**:
- Position yourself under the ball, use your fingertips, and push the ball upwards to set up a spike.
4. **Attacking (Hitting/Spiking)**:
- Approach the net, jump, and hit the ball with an open hand to send it over the net.
5. **Blocking**:
- Jump near the net with your hands up to prevent the ball from coming over.
6. **Digging**:
- Use a low, defensive stance to prevent the ball from hitting the ground after an opponent's attack.
